Dr. Ran Abuhasira became a senior lecturer in internal medicine at Ben-Gurion University of The Negev. Abuhasira is a 2025 Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research harnesses proteomics and large-scale, population-based cohorts to uncover the molecular underpinnings of gout, aiming to improve risk stratification and advance personalized treatment in rheumatology. A senior physician in the Department of Internal Medicine and head of the Clinical Research Center at Soroka University Medical Center, Dr. Abuhasira holds an MD/PhD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
