Dr. Paul Sharp

Dr. Paul B. Sharp received the Beresheet Israel Science Foundation grant, a prestigious reward for new and returning scientists to Israel that will support his groundbreaking research with neurocomputational models. Sharp is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Bar-Ilan University, where he directs the Sharp Lab in the Department of Psychology. He studies how people plan, worry, and make decisions—and how these processes break down in psychopathology—with publications in Nature Human Behavior and Trends in Cognitive Sciences.His recent honors include an Azrieli Faculty Fellowship and the Bereshit ISF grant to investigate planning efficiency in health and illness.
