Dr. Jhonatan Tavori became a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow and Zuckerman STEM Leadership Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University in September 2025. He was awarded the Blavatnik Prize for Outstanding Israeli Doctoral Graduates in Computer Science in June 2025 and received the ‘Innovation Scholarship’ from the Smeltzer Institute for Smart Transportation in January 2025. He was awarded 2nd place at the Final Award Ceremony of the EU’s HORIZON Next Generation Internet (NGI) Enrichers Transatlantic Fellowship Program (January 2025)and selected for the “100 List” at Tel Aviv University for excellence in teaching (December 2024).
Dr. Tavori’s research focuses on security analysis and optimization of modern edge-cloud stochastic networks. Distinguished as the youngest Ph.D. graduate at Tel Aviv University’s 2025 PhD commencement, Dr. Tavori was invited to lead the on-stage cap toss in honor of the graduating class.
