Nader Karayanni, the founder and CEO of startup newcase.ai – the first AI platform for insurance litigation, successfully secured a $1.15M pre-seed round, funded by three top-tier U.S. institutional investors, for the company. He was inspired by the intersection of his field of research and his exposure to his father’s 35 years of experience in claims litigation. He completed his Fulbright scholarship and earned an M.S. in computer science at Columbia University, where he published research on AI at leading conferences. During his time in New York, he gained exposure to the startup ecosystem, built relationships with investors and successful entrepreneurs, and leveraged this experience to raise institutional capital and launch his company with the engineering team based in Haifa. Nader is passionate about building technology that unlocks value through innovation.
